I was the food and prop stylist for these photos, which were selected for web and social media use. I also consulted for Fleishers, advising them on PR strategy, digital/social media content, event marketing and retail store appearance/product displays. Fleishers is a sustainable butcher shop with five locations in and around Manhattan.
As the project manager for the creation of this book by the nationally acclaimed author and medical expert, I hired 5 writers to develop the recipes based on Dr. Hyman’s nutritional guidelines. I then chose each hero shot for the over 100 recipes, and food styled several of the images selected for inclusion in the book.

This book was one of my favorite projects as chef Chiarello’s sous chef and Director of Communications. I tested every recipe. As his sous chef, I assisted him as he personally cooked each recipe for photography. Then, I assisted the head stylist, Claudia Sansone, to be sure each dish perfectly told the story of Chiarello’s cooking.

As Director of Culinary Marketing for Luvo, maker of healthy frozen food, I was responsible for overseeing their partnership with Delta Air Lines. The goal was to increase the reputation of the airline’s healthy food options, and of course, to gain awareness for Luvo. For this project, I developed hundreds of recipes, presented them to Delta, then cooked and food styled the menu items selected for Delta’s EATs menu, offered to economy, comfort and business class passengers. This menu reaches thirty million Delta passengers a year.

Farina was one of my teachers in culinary school and continues to be a mentor every day as I cook. After graduation, I began working for her as a recipe tester and on-air cooking demonstration assistant. I was also honored to help her compile her life’s work in Asian cuisine for her website and mobile app. I cooked and styled hundreds of her best recipes, wrote definitions for the most unusual ingredients and oversaw the creation of website and app from start to finish with her web developers.
